I had a great dining experience here. Small restaurant but nice and modern decor. We had the pad see ew, pork jowl and Tom yum. All dishes were delicious; my husband and I finished them all

This side of San Jose NEEDED some good quality Thai and I'm happy to share that this is a new favorite of mine! I came here twice in one week because I was craving it so bad!! Here are my personal opinions on some dishes: + Nam Khao Tod (5/5): This was the perfect crispy rice texture! So flavorful, but WOW... the mild was still pretty spicy. They don't skimp on the nam (cured pork). However, the overall portion was a little small for the price. 100% would order it again though. + Pad Thai (3/5): Not as saucy or savory as I normally would like it. The noodle texture was great, but it was just too sweet for me. Nothing special. + Grilled Pork Jowl Appetizer (5/5): A MUST TRY! On the expensive side for the amount of pork you get, but the quality!!!! Insane. Cooked perfectly. A star item. I imagine this is great with their fried rice. + Duck Curry (4/5): Not my personal favorite, but a star item on the menu that everyone orders. If you like sweetness in your curry, this is for you. With green grapes and pineapple in there, it has a refreshing taste unlike other curries. The curry itself is spicy and creamy, giving it a lot of complexity in flavor. The duck is the best part! The food was incredible. Got the roti and chicken satay as a perfect way to start the meal. The roti was so crispy, yet perfectly soft on the inside. The sauce on the side for the chicken satay was so good that we wiped it clean. For main dishes we got the Tom yum soup, pad thai, kaprow, and beef fat fried rice. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Than to finished off we got the mango sticky rice, which was so perfectly soft and chewy. Would 100% go back!

Famtime Thai is the real deal! Me and my family went here on Sunday and we ordered couple dishes such as the chicken satay, roti dips, pad-se-ew, fam time fried rice, duck curry. Everything all spectacular! One of my personal favorites is the fam time fried rice, filled with so much flavor and color. Most definitely need to come back here to try other things. The service was amazing, the sweet lady helping us was very kind and warm. 10/10 customer service.

Food is authentic and very flavorful! Not your average Thai-American restaurant. Would recommend the duck curry and pork jowl.
